Today, while shopping with my two Cavachon pups, at a Petco store in Windsor Heights, IA, a suburb of Des Moines, IA, I was approached by another customer who inquired about their breed. She seemed familiar with the breed and wanted to know where I had purchased them. I told her that both Dillon, my oldest and soon to turn 5 in January and Berlyn, who just turned 3 in August, came from a very reputable breeder in Grundy Center, IA and that she should Google “Century Farm Puppies” to learn more about them (Thankfully, both of my pups were were on their very best behavior which would also be a selling point for a potential buyer).
I do hope this very pleasant woman will visit Century Farm Puppies website to view the available puppies and fall, as I did, head over heels in love.
Sick dogs. Wouldn't cooperate with us. Needs investigated and shut down permanent.
My almost 5 month old cavachon, Cece, is from Century Farms! Rex is the best when it comes to knowledge about the breed. Cece had a rough time coming home and being away from her litter-mates. I was able to call Rex and he gave some wonderful advice and even offered to take her back for a couple more days to get her more acclimated. I recommend them to EVERYONE!
I told this very interested woman that prior to my initial purchase of Dillon that I had done extensive research on the Cavachon because I was looking for a companion dog that was highly social, intelligent, easy to train, hypoallergenic and not very vocal and that he lived up to my expectations. 18 months later, I purchased my second Cavachon, Berlyn, a sweet little female, who has her own very fun and loving personality.
Those who think Century Farms is a puppy mill and have 150 adult dogs are misinformed and ignorant. We've been getting dogs from them for years and they genuinely care about every animal and they sure don't have anywhere near 150 adult dogs. Anyone who knows Rex and Deb, KNOWS they LOVE the animals, they're well cared for, and they are NOT a puppy mill. If you want a quality puppy from a loving breeder, look no further than Century Farms.
Also, although I forgot to share this information, prior to my initial purchase, I had made two unannounced visits to the breeder location and found the breeders, Rex and Deb, welcoming, very open and informative and the facility, spotlessly clean and absolutely fit the definition of humane.
Best dog ever! Having had a Cavachon , I wanted another one! Rex and Deb were the best to deal with! Our Leo is now 2 years old & people constantly stop us to tell us what a beautiful dog he is. He is not only beautiful but, loving , healthy & a wonderful addition to our family. We just may get another one from Rex & Deb! Thanks so much for our wonderful little guy (even though he's twice the size of our other one at 25 pounds!) More to Love!
I also felt the need to send this message on to the breeder in Grundy Center (Rex and Deb) to tell them about my conversation and to provide them with a current picture of my grown up pups, the loves of my life, if I can figure out how to do this. If not, I, at least, I want them to know that their Century Farm puppies are truly happy, healthy and the best treasures I have ever given to myself and I cannot thank you enough!
